There Is Power Within You



If you knew the power that is within you, you would not want nor
need of anything in your life. If you understand the incredible ability and
strength and power that you hold inside the form you call body, you would
not expect anything from anyone or anything, and you would realize your
incredible potential to create your life by your design, as well as effect the
world in an intentional manner. You would offer amazing opportunities for

There is only one thing in the entire world, and that is energy.
Everything is energy. You might look around you and think, "but Dwayne, I
see a telephone, a chair, a desk, a computer, everything is not energy." I
would tell you to look closer, and not to believe what you see on the surface.
Sure, everything has a form, but every form is nothing more, and
nothing less, than energy that has come together and grouped itself in a

Since everything is source energy, and everything that has come into
existence has done so through and from source energy, that means that you

order to come into existence. Since you are source energy, and have been
created by source energy, you too are a piece of the overall puzzle of the
universe which is completely connected through source energy. This means
that you too can create just as source energy does, and has.
You might look around you and see an out there and see a world
where there are computers, and roads, and houses, and cars. You might also
think there is an in here, a world inside yourself full of thoughts, emotions,
ideas, and personality. You might even look further in both directions and
see the MilkyWay galaxy, or inward and see organs, cells, and atoms.
The truth and reality of the matter is that there is no out there or in
here, they are one and the same.

We all know what prosperity means. To most of us prosperity only means huge wealth accumulation. A person who is rich and famous is prosperous. That’s what most of us think. It is not our fault, because we have been made to believe that prosperity is linked only to wealth.

However, before getting into how to achieve prosperity, we should first know what is meant by prosperity. One of my friends is a multi millionaire, however he is chronically ill. He feels very diffident about himself and approaches life meekly. Can we call him prosperous just for the fact that he owns millions of money? Almost all of us will answer a big “NO” to this question. This is proof enough for the fact that money alone does not mean prosperity. Prosperity has many components. Some of them (strictly in order of priority) are good health, peace of mind, optimism, enthusiasm to work, confidence, mutual love for fellow humans and finally money.

Prosperity is a very broad term comprising of all these. Only when one has atleast some of all these components, one can claim to be prosperous. This confidence comes due to prosperity of other factors. Confident people can achieve anything in life. We just have to take the first step to learn to live in prosperity.

Keeping the memory in good condition is a vital part of the brain’s function. Every now and then, our actions greatly depend on a lot of information we retrieve from our memory bank. Such information can either be short term (such as specific tasks that we have to do) or long term (such as the ability to drive a car or repeat an instruction we read from a book). While long-term memory may come spontaneously without too much effort when the need arises, short-term memory requires recalling information from the accumulation of things stored in our memory. This is why you need to keep your memory in great shape to achieve efficiency in your daily endeavors:

· Keep your attention focused on the needed information to be stored in your memory bank. Even with distractions around you, stay focused on the subject. The more concentrated you are on the information, the better the chances of retaining it in your memory.

· Utilize the most ideal sense or senses when gathering the information. This what we call acuity in sensing our environment. Be aware of the color or details of a picture, or the particular sound or smell of the thing involved. All our bodily senses are attuned to collect information depending on the circumstance at hand. While our sense of vision may be the most used in gathering information, our senses of hearing, smell, taste, and touch are equally important and helpful in remembering things, situations, and information about something or someone.

· When you’re not sure that the information you are about to remember would really be retained by your brain, it would be better to write the information. This could be proven effective especially in gathering very long and tedious information like lecture notes or a personal interview. Just be sure you don’t forget that you have a note at hand; and of course, don’t misplace the note.

· Maintain a balance diet. A well-proportioned diet will result to a conditioned memory. Oily and sweet foods may cloud the memory. If you cannot completely eliminate a bad diet, gradually cut down your intake of these memory-inhibiting foods. Doing it gradually cushions the effect of withdrawal symptoms and you’ll get adjusted to the new lifestyle you are creating. This is not only beneficial to the memory, but we can say you’re on your way to a healthy life. Drinking lots of water brings lots of advantages to your overall health, and memory is not an exception.

· Don’t deprive yourself with enough rest and sleep. Having enough sleep does not condone laziness; oversleeping does. So don’t feel guilty resting or sleeping as long as it is not overdone. You need it badly to keep you revitalized from the tiresome demand of work.

· Take time to relax. Breathe deeply if you must. Keep your thoughts organized before acting on them. Keep away from stress and anxiety. It may be impossible to completely eliminate stress since it is part of our challenging generation, but try to keep it down as much as possible. Stress may bring your memory into its inefficient level. Avoid the habit of saying to yourself that you might forget things, because you’re more likely to if you do. This just builds your anxiety level up to its panic mode.

· Stay positive, creative, and energetic. Your memory needs to be within a circle of various things. Things that come in various shapes, sizes, and colors can motivate your creativity. This is a positive way of discovering your surroundings in all its variations and diversities. Avoid being enclosed within the four walls of your room just like you’re a prisoner. The only time to be enclosed is when you have to rest or sleep. Don’t be a couch potato. There’s a very exciting world out there waiting to improve your memory.

The very best way to improve your memory is between infancy and adolescent. As we grow old, memory starts to fail. But a strong memory that we can develop during the prime years of our lives will definitely enhance us to be good thinkers. This can be done by continuously exercising our memory through reading and other cognitive activities like the habit of solving crossword puzzles. The more you do these, the better memory retention is developed.

As far as health is concerned, high blood pressure can lead to stroke and heart ailments. It also results to poor memory retention. Memory function declines when blood pressure is high. When it comes to money, do you often find yourself locked into negative emotions like these?

This is also a good thing to do when you notice you're starting to feel worried or frightened about not having enough money. Immediately turn the focus around and say, "I ALWAYS have more than enough money for EVERYTHING I need." (Say it with power and conviction in your voice, and really believe that it is so.)

As you begin shifting your focus from negative emotions to positive emotions every day, you should start to notice your financial situation shifting to a better place also. You might receive an unexpected check in the mail, you might get a bonus or pay raise at work, or you may even notice you're starting to receive unexpected gifts or discounts.

These are great signs that it's working! Keep replacing negative emotions with positive as often as possible and you'll keep the good energy flowing - which will keep inspiring greater and greater change in your life.

Do you put off your work for later, only to find your deadlines steadily creeping in? Then you, my friend, are one of the millions of people afflicted by the procrastination virus. Procrastination is the biggest reason for loss of productivity and late output. Though many would not admit it, they would benefit greatly if they start their work on time.

For many people, putting off their work for later is more habit than desire. It can be so hard to get into a groove where starting your tasks in a timely fashion is a priority; especially if the consequences for being late are things that one can probably bear.

If you are one of these people, yet you desire to shake off your propensity for procrastination, then you have come to the right place. Here are a few tips to help you overcome this dilemma and become a more productive and reliable person.


1. Set schedules – It is very important that you have a list of activities to accomplish per day. This will help you realistically budget your time and resources. One of the cardinal sins people commit in regards to performing their tasks is to put off their work because they feel like there is so much time left. A journal, organizer, or calendar of events will help you plan and schedule your task so that you can start them promptly and finish them on time.


2. Save the Vacation for Later – Many people put their work off for later saying, “I'll just have a little fun then buckle down to work later.” While it may be true that they may have more than enough time to accomplish their tasks, it would be better if they finished their work first and relax afterward.


Wouldn't relaxation be sweeter if it were after a taxing job? If you choose to lay back and relax before doing your tasks, you will be more prone to burnout and will have nothing exciting left to look forward to after accomplishing a task. It is always better to have slack period AFTER a job than before one, especially considering that people are wont to overusing their slack time. This is suicide if you are heading towards a deadline.


3. Never Underestimate Your Tasks – Sometimes procrastination sets in because people underestimate the resources, difficulty, and time spent for a particular task. They will usually say, “It's just mowing the lawn, it’s easy; I could do it in a jiffy.” The problem is, no matter how trivial the task, it still takes time and resources to accomplish. If you underestimate a task, you will most likely set too little time to do it and schedule it too close to its deadline.


4. Don't Allow Yourself to Get Comfortable Doing Nothing – It would definitely help if you kept a subconscious alarm whenever you are doing nothing. Get this alarm to remind you of things that may need to be done. This will help you foster the notion that jobs accomplished now means more time for relaxation later. However, even if this is the case, do not forget to put ample time in for rest and to remove all thoughts of troubles before hitting the sack. The trick here, however, is not to overdo you rest. There is a difference between resting and idling. Always set the right amount of time for rest and stick to that schedule.

These are the questions that most of us are constantly asking ourselves in our minds. Most of the time, we are asking unconsciously.

We are constantly judging what we are doing, because we are afraid of making mistakes. Let me now show you how to choose the right action that will lead you to your ultimate goals.

First of all, let's discuss ...

The root of all procrastination.

Very often, people tell me "I have studied all the theories of success and read all the self improvement books, but I still don't know what to do."

Then they end up doing nothing, and getting no results.

No matter how many books you read, how many tapes you listen to, and how many seminars you attend, if you don't take any action, you won't have any result. Action creates result. You can't change this fact.

Inaction leads to endless procrastination, and ultimately leads to failure.

You must understand that no matter how bad the situation is, you can always take some action to improve it right now, even for just a little improvement. If you can’t imagine how to make 1 million dollars, just make a commitment to make 100 dollars first. You might have heard of this phase CANI, It represents constant-and-never-ending-improvement. Success is a journey, not a destination. This journey is about improvement. As long as you are making some kind of improvement, you are leading to success.

Now you know you need to take some kind of action,

then...

What is the right action?

The answer is to ask your intuition. Your intuition will never fool you, because it is a message from Higher Intelligence. Your intuition always knows what is right and what is wrong.

Do you remember I said that feelings and emotions were the language of the universe? They are also the messages from the higher intelligence of the universe. When you feel a positive emotion, the universe is telling you that you are doing well, keep on doing it; when you are receiving a negative emotion, the universe is warning you that you are not aligned with your ultimate purpose, or life mission. You need to correct your action. This is the way the universe communicates with you.

Before taking any action, ask yourself, "What feeling will it make me feel once I have accomplished this action?"

Most of the time, your intuition will give you immediate feedback; you either receive a positive or a negative emotion.

Listen to your intuition, and do what makes you feel good, don't worry about making mistakes, because...

Everything is in its divine order

One of the most stubborn road blocks to success is fear of failure, or fear of making mistakes.

To completely remove this road block, you must accept a belief that everything is in divine order.

Look back over your life of the past 10 years. Did you make any mistakes? Sure you did, but without those mistakes, would you have the life you are living now? If you look deeply, you will find that those mistakes have inevitably created some coincidence that has led to your present life. There is always a connection between the things that are happening in your life. The mistakes were part of your life journey that could not have been missed, so why did you worry at that time?

After my university entrance examination, I did not get a chance to join an old name university that I loved very much. Most people that knew me felt sorry for me, but I did not care, I joined the university of my second choice. A month after joining that university, I was offered a scholarship to study abroad in a much better university than my first choice university. Best of all, I did not spend a single dime on my tertiary education; even my everyday spending was covered by that scholarship. I would never have had this chance if I had joined my first choice university. I believe every thing is in its divine order, in my life nothing ever goes wrong.

If you want more of this kind of coincidence happen in your life, repeat this everyday when you feel doubt :

Anything taken too much is bad for the health. A little stress is actually good; as it could serve to help you function at your best. However, stress that seems a little too much could take a physical, as well as mental, toll to your body. Stress should be managed in order for depression or anxiety to be prevented.

So how should you do it then? The following are tips and advice to help manage stress.

Write it out, schedule it out.

It is best to write down everything that seems to be overwhelming. You will find a things-to-do-list much easier to manage than having errands all crumpled up in your head. Writing down the tasks, and putting a specific schedule and time to do them, helps anyone manage activities one chunk at a time. Crossing out an activity that has already been accomplished is very rewarding and could actually help you feel more relaxed when doing the other tasks at hand.

One at a time works.

Focus and put all your attention specifically on one task at one time. It does not help to feel panicky about the other undone or to-do tasks. Thinking about them only adds unnecessary stress and could even hamper in doing the task you are attempting to accomplish at present.

Relax and take it slow.

At least, try not to expend too much energy on activities that are currently not priorities. This is in order for your energy to be not easily expended on the tasks that are not that important, at least for now.

Delegate, delegate, delegate.

You need not do everything all at once, and you need not do everything on your own. Ask for help, get help, or pay for help. When there is a feeling of being overwhelmed that is cropping up, hire someone to mow the lawn or get a sitter for your children. The feeling of being pressed to finish something on time will somehow be eliminated if tasks are delegated. It takes a load off unnecessary worry and anxiety. Moreover, it is easier checking up on how things are, than worrying yourself sick doing everything on your own, all at once.

Give yourself a reward.

You deserve it. Acknowledging your accomplishments, no matter how big or small, is an effort that is necessary before getting on to the next tasks and activities. It reduces stress and could even make you happier in doing the next task.

Give yourself a break.

You need it to be more productive. A ten to fifteen minute break during your work is necessary. Go visit a café nearby, take a quick brisk walk, or do anything to put your mind off work, at least for a while. This is necessary to refresh and recharge. Believe it or not, you can also stay in your work and sit with your eyes closed as you visualize a peaceful landscape or a relaxing scene. This frees the stress from your muscles and your mind.

Relax and be cool. Doing so makes you healthier, happier, and a lot more productive.

Affirmation is merely an assertion made by a person, about something or about a state of being. A person can affirm those that he chooses to attain, like “I now have a good life.” Being healthy in mind, body, and spirit can also be made possible through affirmation.

A strong affirmation should be stated in the present tense to be more effective. An affirmation of “I am now a happy being” is more effective than an affirmation saying, “I am going to become a happy being.” Affirmation should always be in positive terms because it is supposed to work for you and not against you. Instead of saying, “I am not sad,” why not make an affirmation saying, “I am happy.”

An affirmation should be made up of simple but concise words, and it should be short to be more effective. A very long affirmation can work the other way around, instead of creating a positive mindset for a person. A short affirmation can be easily spoken and repeated by a person. It can serve as a mantra that can be repeated over and over again.

To be effective, an affirmation must be repeated. Repetition works and influences the subconscious, which in turn motivates the person into acting out his affirmation. A person who creates the affirmation should be deeply involved with the words he will be using, so he will be able to actualize his affirmation. Writing words that one believes in can be very powerful, and this can be put to good use when creating an affirmation.

However, creating an affirmation alone and repeating them a million times would not make the affirmation a state of mind. The important thing is to live one’s affirmation and to be open-minded enough to do the things that would help the affirmation become a reality. Feeling the affirmation and applying it in one’s life will help in making the affirmation a reality.

While affirmation is generally used to make an individual better, it can also be used to boost or confirm another person’s value. By affirming another person‘s existence, you are helping him improve his self-worth.

A Funny Thing Happens When You Cut Out All Of The Negatively In Your Life

The Law of Attraction is certainly not new. People have been using
it for centuries to effectively attract what they desire out of
life.
Or at least that's true of some people.
As Clinical Hypnotherapist Steve G. Jones put's it; "When it comes

"Ask, it is given." I know you have heard it a million times. You may think this is only true in stories and movies, and it will never happen to you. But I can tell you that this is a universal truth that works for everyone, including you.

Today I am going to reveal to you the real meaning of this truth, and the step by step process that you can use to live by this principle. Before I tell you the techniques, I would like to discuss with you why this law works perfectly and why this is an absolute truth.

Scientists have been studying the human brain for centuries. They know the anatomy of the brain very well, but they have failed to locate the place in our brain where our thoughts come from. They probably will never succeed, because thoughts come though our brain, but they are not manufactured in our brain. Where do they actually come from? They come from a pure unified mind field, where everything is manifested. Some people call this field the Universal Mind, or Cosmic Mind, some call it God, or source energy. They basically mean the same thing. It is the unified field that is the origin of thoughts, the origin of you and me, and everything in this world. We are all extensions of this field, and we are all one with the field. Think of the ocean and the waves. When we see waves, we see millions of different patterns, and we think they are all different and separate from each other, but in essence, they are all extensions of the ocean. We are extensions of the unified field in the same sense.

Since we and the unified field or God are one, then our thoughts are God's thoughts, our desires are God's desires. Do you think God will fail to fulfill his own desires? Of course not. Then why should we worry about our desires? Whatever we ask, it is given.

Then the logical question is: Why am I still living a life of struggle? Why am I still experiencing anxiety and unhappiness? The answer if simple. No matter what you are experiencing now, you have invited or asked for at some point in the past. Any time you have a thought of anxiety and worry, you are asking for more of the same. We are always asking unconsciously, and most of the time, we are asking negatively.

We are living in a negative world. Most people think negatively all the time. We don't need to blame anyone; this is the way life works. Without overcoming these negative forces, we are unable to grow; just as without overcoming the gravitational force, we could not climb up a mountain. Then the question is, how to overcome these negative forces or negative thoughts? We overcome them by replacing them with positive ones. It is easier said than done; I know very few people can do it. Over the years, I have learned some very profound and powerful techniques from the world’s best masters. These techniques are very easy to apply, but very powerful. I guarantee you, as long as you apply them, you will quickly see benefits within days, sometimes instantly!



Get your intentions clear!

In order to receive, you must first ask, and you must get clear on what to ask. We have 60,000 thoughts every day - which ones are important? And many of the thoughts are in conflict. Imagine you have a thought of going to London, but at the same time you have another thought of going to New York. Then which one should the universe fulfill? In fact there is no way it can fulfill either, there will be no result. So getting clear on what to ask is the first important step.
 
Technique No.1: Intention writing

The first technique for getting clear on what you want is what I call intention writing. This technique is from Brian Tracy, but I have modified it a little bit so that it works better for me. Here is what you do with this technique. Every morning when you wake up and every night before you retire, write down all the things you want in the form of intentions. And here is what it should look like.

"I intend to ....now. I accept this or something better"

If you want to have a new BMW car, you should state

"I intend to manifest a new BMW car now. I accept this or something better."

I don't recommend that you change the wording, because I believe this format is very powerful.

After writing down all your intentions, write these words " please make these or something better happen in the ways that are for the highest good of me and of all concerned. Thank you, thank you, thank you."

Do it exactly like I say, don't change the words and the format. I don't have enough space here to explain why these words are so important, but trust me, you will see your results when you use it.


Technique No.2: Make a deal with your inner CEO

This is a technique I learned from Bob Scheinfeld. Prepare a small box, and put it in a private place where only you can access it. Write your top desires on pieces of paper, and put them into the box. You have to make a deal with your higher self (or God, Bob calls it your inner CEO). The deal is, whatever you put into this box is important for you.

By using the first two techniques, you will be able to post your request to the unified field successfully.

Get connected to the unified field
Technique No.3: 15 minutes short meditation

Meditate for 15 minutes in the morning and 15 minutes in the evening. Simply focus on your breathing, and when you find your mind wandering, bring it back to your breath. This technique will help you reconnect with the unified field, and restore your energy. The unified field works best for you when you feel the connection. This simple technique will make a huge difference in your life. Trust me on this.

The next two techniques will help you clear all your negative blocks, and work harmoniously with the field; therefore speeding up the process of manifesting your desires.

Technique No.4: 17 seconds of flip switch

This is my favorite technique, I learned it from the legendary Dr Robert Anthony. It dramatically changed the quality of my life, and will change yours as well. Most self improvement programs fail, because they don't work in the moment. When we have a negative feeling, we must correct it in the moment, don't allow it to accumulate. This is exactly what flip switch does. From time to time during the day, take at least 17 seconds to think about good feelings. Think of the people or things that you feel good about, and feel grateful for. Think of anything that makes you feel good, and focus on that for 17 seconds. You can do this when you are feeling bad, so that you can feel good; you can also do it when you feel good, so that you will feel even better. I suggest you make a list of things that you feel grateful for, or things you enjoy doing. Look at that list several times during the day, and focus on it for just 17 seconds. You will see dramatic changes in your life.

Technique No.5: 3 minutes Power Pause

This is John Harricharan's famous 3 minute power pause technique. It works like a charm. Before you do this exercise, make a deal with yourself that no matter what problem you have right now, you will leave it alone and take only 3 minutes to think about whatever you want to think. In this 3 minutes, you can think of anything. The exercise consists of 3 steps: step one: disconnect from your problems. Once you have made the deal with yourself, this step is done. The second step is to think of how you would feel if your desires had already come true, really experience it in your mind. The third step is to say thank you, and feel grateful. These are all done within 3 minutes.

Simple? Then do it.


Trust the Process

You will find there are times when you worry about whether your desires will be fulfilled. When this happens, you must remind yourself of the truth.

Here are things I tell myself to remind me of the truth.
"The life in me is inseparably connected with all life that exists and is entirely devoted to my personal advancement"

The second script I use is from Dr Robert Anthony's "Rapid manifestation" program

Here it goes: That which I seek is seeking me. I let go of how it will come to me and I focus on my heart’s desire. My higher self within me knows how to make it happen, so I just relax and let go. Everything that is necessary for the fulfillment of my desires is lovingly and harmoniously drawn to me. I accept this or something better. I am ready, receptive and grateful, and so it is.

Apply these techniques, and I guarantee you will see wonderful results within days.
