What are you thinking right now?

by Timothy Kendrick

What are you thinking right now?
What are you feeling at this moment?
Notice your reactions to people, conditions and circumstance.
Whatever disturbs you is unhealthy.
Whatever permits your negative emotions to take away your peace is unhealthy.
When I get nutty I ask myself these questions, even write them down so I can clarify it even further. I have learned that Clarity is empowering. Honest self assessment gives me the leverage to take the actions necessary to attain my purpose at that time which is a sense of peace.
Sometimes I must change the environment that I am in in order to change my state. Other times I know I have these emotions and feelings inside of me and I've trained myself to call them up and feel them at anytime.
Life is what your thoughts make it.

We do the best at that which we enjoy the most

by Timothy Kendrick

Follow your bliss is an old saying that goes a long way। By following what you enjoy, love and have a passion for you will undoubtedly help someone else with what they want।
There is no greater gift to give than to touch someone’s soul with helping them get what they want out of this lifetime। It may just be a smile, a handwritten card or something that they feel will give them significance in their life।
If you enjoy writing, write. If you enjoy painting, paint. If you want to play a musical instrument or sing, do it. Tony Robbins says “When is now a good time to start”.
Whatever brings you happiness and alleviates pain or want from others will bring you abundance and riches beyond what you could ever imagine.
I will say it again Living is Giving.
Take a moment right now and write down 3 things that you think will make you happy.
It is not the 3 things themselves that make you happy it is the emotions and feelings that these 3 things bring you that will make you happy
There is enough in this world to go around. Whatever you want you can have. Why you ask? Because we all want different things. You may want a new Mercedes. Your neighbor may want a $50,000. I may want a log cabin in the woods.
The secret is to plant into your subconscious mind by visual, auditory, or kinesthetic (touch) daily these things you desire. Put these things (pictures etc) in places you will always see them. Allow your subconscious to go to work for you. Your subconscious will tell you what actions you must take in order to achieve this major definite aim. It will give you an intuitive thought that you must act upon it immediately.
Sounds a bit crazy I know. So is doing the same thing over and over wishing for a different result.

Failure to communicate…

This was one of my biggest faults in my entire existence on this earth. For many years I did not listen to anything except what I wanted to hear. My mouth overrode my, er, uh ass on more than one occasion.
I did not realize at the time that the greatest key to success was the Art of Listening. Years later I would hear Steven Covey say “work diligently to understand than to be understood”
Looking back and to this moment, every successful relationship I have is because of my ability to listen. Get my family together and they are the biggest bunch of talkers I have ever heard. The only one who listens is my Step-Dad. My mom jokes sometimes that I am the only one who made any money out of speaking. The truth is, it is from listening that I made any money.
I worked in sales, actually still do (we are all selling something whether we realize it or not). I found the best salesmen or saleswomen are the best listeners. The ones who ask the right questions, find the needs (challenges) of the client and offer a viable solution.
You can’t find out anything if you are talking all the time. The 80-20 rule works best here. Brian Tracy says he thinks of it as a giant spotlight and it should be on the other person 80% of the time and on himself 20%.
It is a human fact of nature that we are more interested in ourselves than we are of others. TAKE AN INTEREST IN OTHER PEOPLE you will be amazed at what you can learn. Be sincere when you do this you will be amazed at the results.

Retrain Your Brain

Worry is a psychic disease that vanishes when action is taken.
First, decide what you want.
Second, decide you are willing to pay the price to make it happen, then PAY THAT PRICE!
There is never something for nothing. Mother Nature does not work this way.
Your first question to yourself was probably the same as mine. What do I want? From my own personal history I have found if I work for “a cause” and not “for a living” It takes care of itself.
Now you say “what is my cause?” Easy, what are you passionate about?
What are you more passionate about than any other thing in the world?

Remember the focus of your attention and concerns must be moved away from yourself and always moving toward others (giving).

By helping others through your “major definite purpose” get what they want, you will get what you want and more.
(1)Riches (money)
(2) The skills attained from your experience learned by performing these actions.
My friend Tony says “purpose is stronger than outcome, if you are committed there is always a way”.

Me, simply put, Giving is living.
