Will Power Doesn't Exist by Dr. Robert Anthony

Life is like taking a trip on the river and reacting to the FLOW.
It is always about the FLOW.  The problem is most people take their
boat down to the river, put it in the river and then they
invariably turn it UPSTREAM and start paddling hard against the
current.  It never occurs to them to go downstream because they
think they have to struggle to have what they want.

Here is a simple idea.  Why not go WITH the current instead of
fighting AGAINST the current? But you may say, "Struggle and hard
work is the only way to get what you want."  That's crazy! Here is
the important point - NOTHING YOU WANT IS UPSTREAM. Ever!

Every bit of struggle and determination, all that "I am going to
heal myself", "I am going to fix this", "I am going to make this
better", all of that has you focused UPSTREAM. What I want is for
you to feel the ease of letting go of struggle. You don't even
have to turn your boat around in the stream and begin paddling
downstream - just let go of the oars (struggle) and the current
will turn you automatically!

This is not about teaching you to go with the stream because you
have no choice. This is about asking the question and helping you
answer it.  Are you going willingly?  Are you going toward your
natural unfolding willingly, or are you going to continue to paddle
upstream? In every moment the choice of which way you are going to
go is yours.

Today will bring you a new awareness, a lesson or a manifestation
that you are making progress - IF YOU LOOK FOR IT!  No matter how
large or small, please record it in your Evidence Journal. It will
only take a few moments and will AUTOMATICALLY put you in the Flow.

Truly Caring for Your Success!

How to Break Bad Habits

Try the Brain Evolution For Free

There are hundreds of bad habits and hundreds of ways to break them.  if you need help, there are books, support groups, and counselors to help you.  Mostly you can take a common sense approach and get the job done.

If bragging is one of your bad habits, you could either be insecure or overly proud.  It usually makes the other person feel bad, or they resent you.  You can get a handle on this bad habit if you stop for a few seconds before you talk.  Give yourself time to think about others and how this will sound to them.  Think about whether you are telling it to them, or to yourself.

Another one of these bad habits is name dropping.  Again, you may be insecure.  Most people will not take it in a friendly way.  Try to tell your same stories but without the names to stop yourself from doing this.  You might say, "My friend Brad" instead of "my friend Brad Pitt," or something like that.

Cursing is one of those bad habits that can start at an early age.  You may curse so much that you are unaware that you are doing it much of the time.  The first thing to do is to pay attention.  Whenever you say inappropriate words, put money in a jar.  Even if it is your coffee money, put it in there.  Also, you might want to think about anger management classes if your cursing is done in a hostile way.

If you have the bad habit of chewing with your mouth open, there may be a physical cause.  It is disgusting at the dinner table and might make you look bad at a dinner meeting.  Perhaps all you need is a nasal decongestant.  Maybe if you can breathe through your nose, you will close your mouth.

You may be a whiner.  This is one of those bad habits that annoy people from the time you are a child until you are old or until you quit it.  It comes out in the sound of your voice and the expression on your face.  However, it is rooted in a negative, doom and gloom attitude.  Look on the positive side of things, and you will find yourself whining less.

Gossips are notorious for starting trouble in any group to which they belong.  These people often find their lives so boring that they cannot find anything else to talk about.  Their only topic of discussion is other people's business.  These people can break this bad habit by finding new interests to think and therefore talk about.

Nail biting is a bad habit for people of all ages.  It damages the fingertips and nails.  It is not a very sanitary practice.  People do it out of nervousness, and most of them would like to quit.  In past times, people would wear gloves, but people do not wear them much anymore.  You can buy nail polish that tastes bad, though.  That seems to help at times.

You can find a way to overcome any addiction or bad habit.  Some of them are trivial in the scheme of things.  Others are deadly serious.  If you find the right help for your situation, you can stop your bad habits.

7 Ways to Stop Sulking By Stuart Mills

It’s hard in today’s world, right? Everyone seems to be out for their own gain. People would rather frown than smile, would rather moan about the world than delight in its benefits. Doom and gloom everywhere we see.
But this isn’t reality, it’s only our reality. What we perceive the world to be is only our own perspective based on our beliefs and experiences. If we believe the world to be grey and miserable, it will appear that way. If we perceive the world to be stressful and difficult, then it will appear that way. Whatever way you look at it, the world will adjust itself to fit your views. Harsh? Maybe, but it’s true.
So why not stop sulking, and be happy? Here are nine ways to stop moaning like it’s the end of the world, and start enjoying yourself again:

1. There Will Never Be Another You

I’m the most important person in my life.
Sound cocky? Arrogant? Whatever it sounds like, it’s true, and it always will be true. I’m the most important person for me, as you are the most important person for you. This applies to everyone, regardless of age, sex, race, culture, etc. In other words, the only person who will be able to live the mass potential that is your life, is you. No-one else will have the chances that you have, and no-one else will experience the same opportunities that you will encounter. It’s all down, ultimately, to you, and that won’t ever change.
An example: no-one will re-live Tony Robbin’s rise to stardom, but Tony Robbins won’t be able to experience what you experience. That’s all down to you, and no-one else.

2. You Can Change At Any Point

There are going to be points in your life which you won’t like; you might not like the way you behaved in a confrontation, or you might not have spent as much time with the children in the past. Well guess what? We have a gift to change all that.
We have the gift to look at ourselves and reflect on what isn’t working. And then change it. We can change anything in our lives at any point, for something better. How about that? We can transform our lives whenever we want! Anytime you feel down, you can take action to feel better, and to do better, simply by changing your thoughts.

3. You Control You

Sometimes we genuinely believe we are forced into situations where we have no control, where we have to do what we’re told. This, I preach, is false.
We are never forced into anything. Everything that we do, we choose to do, whether we recognise it or not. Granted, there will be moments in life where it would be extreme to go against what you’re told, but the same applies. Only you have control over your actions.
We ALWAYS have the power to choose what we do next, no matter how much of it we exert. No-one else controls you, and you control no-one else. You control you.

4. Look Outside

Here’s a tip; if you wanna sulk, take a look outside instead. Ignore the grey, dull clouds if there are any, and look closer. Everything is always there, but how often do we take it all in? There’s a whole universe up there beyond the sky, and all the wonders of mankind. Yet all we can find is complaints about the weather.
Next time you’re feeling down, look out your window, see what is there, and don’t take it for granted. Really appreciate everything for what it is. Just picture in your mind what there is in the world and beyond. It might even make you happy.

5. Talk To Someone New

A key reason why we sulk is because we don’t like our friends. We blame our friends for making our lives miserable, when this is far from the truth. If they deliberately set out to make us miserable we wouldn’t be friends with them in the first place!
I remember looking back at one year in my life, and realising that I made one new friend over the whole year. Only one! I was shocked at the stagnation of my social circle. That’s right, my circle had stagnated. Not good.
If you lack interesting conversations, try talking to new people. People you wouldn’t normally talk to. At the very worst, you’ll end up back where you started. At the very best, you’ll have a new friend for life. Sounds like a good deal to me.

6. What Do You Love?

A lot of people move through life, and moan about it along the way, being totally unsure about what it is that they actually want to do. People in their fifties, even sixties, are still in jobs which they hate, yet they’re too afraid to leave because they don’t know what they’d do otherwise. They haven’t taken the time to discover what it is they truly love to do, not just as a career, but for life.
What is it that you love doing? Really think on it here, what spurs you on? What can you see yourself doing as a career, spending most of your weekday hours towards? Take your time, be sure about what you want to do. Then charge towards it like an unstoppable animal!

7. Smile

All you have to do is…
Extend your muscles in your mouth and smile. No matter where you are, just smile. Smile for yourself, smile for everyone to see. Show the world you can be happy.

How to Cheat at Meditation or The Truth Behind Brainwave CDs

Meditation is good!
The benefits are truly enormous: improved mind power, increased IQ levels, greater energy, self-enlightenment, less required sleep, and more.
But how many of us REALLY indulge in a strict meditation schedule? And remember, you're talking HOURS each day if you want the greatest benefit.
Let's be honest: in the modern world, people just don't have TIME.
Until now, that is.
We've all heard about brainwave meditation CDs before. Holosync is perhaps the best known example.
Long story short, brainwave meditation CDs basically contain specially-created sounds. When listened to with headphones, these sounds help to influence your brainwaves - a process known as "brainwave entrainment." These sounds basically take your brainwaves down to a low frequency state - similar to that achieved after years of meditation practice.
By listening to these CDs each day, you can begin enjoying the many great benefits of meditation - yet without the need for endless years of strict practice.
Meditation for cheats? Pah - I hope so!
The problem, however, is that most brainwave meditation CDs simply don't work.
I've tried Holosync, Optimindzation, Hemi-Sync, and many others. Yes, the science behind the technology is infallible. However, each of these uses boring-sounding audio recordings, and require at least one hour listening a day. Many, especially Holosync, also cost thousands to complete the course, and require many years of practice. Technically, they also only employ one mode of brainwave entrainment - a fatal error in the world of brainwave technology.
But among the rubble, there's one diamond that stands out - at least for me - above the crowd.
It's called the Brain Evolution System - or "BrainEv" - and it's been causing waves in the industry since it's launch back in 2006.
It brings about all the benefits of true meditation - greater energy, increased IQ, emotional mastery, sharper thinking, heightened creativity, better relationships, improved memory, less required sleep, greater relaxation levels. And it does it without the shortcomings of its competitors.
BrainEv is a 6-CD system that contains perhaps the most beautiful audio recordings the self-development world has ever heard. It only requires 30 minutes of listening each day, which you can do as you fall asleep, or by waking up 30 minutes earlier than normal - meaning it doesn't impact on your schedule. You also only need to listen 6 times a week. The entire program also costs just a fraction of its competitors.
Most importantly however, BrainEv has proven itself the most technically superior product on the market.
It employs something known as "3P DEAP" technology, intertwining three different methods of brainwave entrainment together - to produce truly industry-pioneering results. That essentially guarantees you'll experience the most profound benefits around - such as a boost in your mind power, full body relaxation, enhanced creativity, and greater energy levels.
In short, my experience has found only one true leader in the world of brainwave CDs.
It is - quite simply - the Brain Evolution System.
It stands head and shoulders above the rest - and truly delivers the most powerful benefits of meditation, usually within days of starting the program. It'll revolutionize your life - and help you enjoy the advantages of what would usually take years of strict, regimented practice to achieve.
Is BrainEv cheating? Possibly. But, trust me: this is one sneaky little shortcut I'm sticking with!

The Truth Behind Max Ehrmann's inspirational poem - Desiderata

Max Ehrmann's inspirational poem - Desiderata

The common myth is that the Desiderata poem was found in a Baltimore church in 1692 and is centuries old, of unknown origin. Desiderata was in fact written around 1920 (although some say as early as 1906), and certainly copyrighted in 1927, by lawyer Max Ehrmann (1872-1945) based in Terre Haute, Indiana. The Desiderata myth began after Reverend Frederick Kates reproduced the Desiderata poem in a collection of inspirational works for his congregation in 1959 on church notepaper, headed: 'The Old St Paul's Church, Baltimore, AD 1692' (the year the church was founded). Copies of the Desiderata page were circulated among friends, and the myth grew, accelerated particularly when a copy of the erroneously attributed Desiderata was found at the bedside of deceased Democratic politician Aidlai Stevenson in 1965.

Whatever the history of Desiderata, the Ehrmann's prose is inspirational, and offers a simple positive credo for life.

desiderata - by max ehrmann

Go placidly amid the noise and haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence.

As far as possible, without surrender, be on good terms with all persons. Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others, even to the dull and the ignorant, they too have their story. Avoid loud and aggressive persons, they are vexations to the spirit.

If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain and bitter; for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself. Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans. Keep interested in your own career, however humble; it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time.

Exercise caution in your business affairs, for the world is full of trickery. But let this not blind you to what virtue there is; many persons strive for high ideals, and everywhere life is full of heroism. Be yourself. Especially, do not feign affection. Neither be cynical about love, for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment it is perennial as the grass.

Take kindly to the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth. Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with imaginings. Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness.

Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself. You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here. And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.

Therefore be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be, and whatever your labors and aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life, keep peace in your soul.

With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world.

Be cheerful. Strive to be happy.

Max Ehrmann c.1920

desiderata myth and trivia (allegedly..)

Max Ehrmann was born in Terre Haute, Indiana, on September 16, 1872. His parents were German immigrants. Ehrmann graduated from DePauw University in Greencastle in 1894, after which he studied law and philosophy at Harvard University.

Ehrmann returned to Terre Haute to practice law, following which (early 1900's) he began writing, apparently obsessively. Max Ehrmann was known as the 'Poet Laureate' of Terre Haute.

Ehrmann wrote many poems, although none became well known until after his death. Aside from Desiderata his most famous poem is A Prayer, written in 1906.

Max Ehrmann originally copyrighted Desiderata in 1927 as 'Go Placidly Amid The Noise And Haste'. The copyright number was 962402, dated 3rd January.

Ehrmann included Desiderata in a Christmas message to his friends in 1933, and significantly never added any copyright notice, a factor which featured strongly in legal considerations in the 1970's about Desiderata copyright (more below).

US Army psychiatrist Merill Moore wrote in 1942 to Ehrmann that he used the Desiderata poem in his therapy work, and also wrote to Ehrmann in 1944 suggesting that the poem should be bottled and sold as 'Dr Ehrmann's Magic Soul Medicine'. Communications between Moore and Ehrmann featured strongly in legal considerations in the 1970's about Desidarata copyright (more below).

Max married Bertha three months before his death in 1945. Bertha Scott King Ehrmann was from New York; she graduated from Smith College, wrote, taught, and published a book called The Worth of a Girl. Three months after Max Ehrmann's death, Bertha published four of his books.

Max Ehrmann's widow Bertha published the Desiderata poem with some other of his work in 1948, in a collection titled The Poems Of Max Ehrmann. She re-renewed the Desiderata copyright in 1948 and 1954.

Bertha Ehrmann died in 1962, upon which the copyright ownership passed to her nephew Richmond Wight. Wight later sold the copyright for an undisclosed amount to Crescendo Publishing Company in 1975.

Seemingly in 1959 (some say 1957) Reverend Frederick Kates produced around just 200 copies of his inspirational works collection featuring Desiderata, which sparked the confusion and myth that endures today. By the late 1970's Old St Paul's Church was receiving 40 enquiries a week as to the origins of the Desiderata poem.

A copy of the Desiderata poem (a version linked to 1692 and The Old St Paul's Church) was found on Democratic politician Adlai Stevenson's bedside table after his death in 1965 - supposedly Stevenson was intending to use what he believed to be the ancient poem in his Christmas cards, and this much publicised discovery did much to increase the fame and myth of Desidarata.

Star Trek creator Gene Roddenberry kept a copy of Desiderata in his office.

The Desiderata verse was a big selling Athena poster during the late 1900's.

Desiderata is Latin and means 'things that are yearned for', which in the context of the poem more closely means 'essential things'.

Inspired by an Athena or similar poster, singer Les Crane used the Desiderata words in his 1971 hit pop record, for which he received a Grammy award for the 'best spoken word recording'. Supposedly Les Crane saw the Desiderata verse on a poster and believed the words to be in the public domain, but then (so the story goes) had to share his royalties with the then Desiderata copyright owners.

Amazingly there is some doubt today as to whether Ehrmann's final line of Desiderata began 'Be careful...', or 'Be cheerful..' Most modern interpretations, including the one here, use the latter.

Confusion has surrounded Desiderata copyright and usage and whether or not the poem is in the public domain. A key judgement was made following the Desiderata poem's publication in the August 1971 issue of Success Unlimited magazine, after which Desiderata became the source of a copyright court battle (Bell v. Combined Registry Co., 536 F.2d 164 - 7th Cir., 1976) between Robert L Bell (owner) and Combined Registry Company (publisher). The court decided on 14 May 1976 in favour of Combined Registry Company. Bell has however apparently succeeded since then with other claims, so caution is advisable if intending to publish or exploit the Desidarata work for profit. Look on the web for more precise up-to-date details about copyright and ownership.

easy way to see if the outcome you desire is really, really what you want

Here is an easy way to see if the outcome you desire is really, really what you want.

How does it make you feel when you do it or think about doing it?

Remember there is no logic in thinking so you must get emotional about it.

Does your heart race in a pleasant manner and time seems to stand still.

Or does it suck the life out of you and you dread every second of it.

Are you drained spiritually, mentally or physically after you have done the chosen path?

Your ego will say this is what I SHOULD DO or this is what "they" want. "They" without proclaiming who or what is nothing more than an excuse.

When I am following my joy through an easy and relaxed manner, abundance, peace and wealth flow through and around me.

Bombs could be going off and I would not even know it.

When I was a soldier for some odd reason I had many moments of ecstatic bliss.

I was at peace more than not when seriously heavy shizzit was going on around me. (war)

Many of my Superiors thought I was totally nuts (I was) and locked me up on more than one occasion.

I'm not saying I did not pay a price for that lifestyle. If you read my first book you will know.

I did pay a price although greater men and women than I have paid a bigger price.

I would not for a moment give up any one of those experiences that enlightened me and helped make me who I am today.

This leads back to my ego. "I" thought "they" were out to get me so I volunteered for every shit job overseas I could find because when I was around the Stateside Bases it was only a matter of time before my old patterns would creep in and my mouth would get me in trouble.

Besides I did not like that entire saluting ass kissing lifer crap. Remember this was my perception, my own B.S. (belief systems)

"I" wanted to be where I could kind of make my own rules (ego again). Most of the places I went there were no rules.

I remember when I landed in Somalia I ask an old-timer there "what are the rules of engagement?" He says to me "there aren't any". My kind of war. (I was a professional really)

I had no intention of coming back alive. (My plan, not the divinities)

So how do we know what is right or wrong for us, wise or unwise?

Remember the villain is the hero of his own story.

Well you just follow your bliss.

My bliss today is contributing to my fellow man.

This is why I always paraphrase Wayne Dyer's 4 phases of life when I say Athlete, Warrior, Statesman, and Spiritual Being.

Don't get me wrong, I touched many souls when I traveled the globe and many people who are no longer in this dimension of existence touched mine.

In spite of my insanity there were positive things that came out of it. Mostly when Divine Intervention intervened.

People ask me about spiritual experiences which I have had several powerful ones.

Well as far as I know about god.

1.God is this moment,

2.God is in everything

3.God wants us to be abundant so we can better serve our fellow man

4.God knows what he's doing, That's how he got the job!!

When the day comes and "they" chunk me in the ground the only thing that will mean a damn thing is that dash - between my date of birth and my date of death.

That little dash -

What does that little dash represent to you?

Now is all there is and all there will ever be.

What have you given to mankind in your moments of this day?

Remember, what you give you get to keep?

Whose soul have you touched today?

We don't die.

We are just a bundle of energy on a short trip through this dimension to learn, love, live and yes leave a legacy?

What is your Legacy you want to leave?

A PSALM OF LIFE - Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

A PSALM OF LIFE

WHAT THE HEART OF THE YOUNG MAN
SAID TO THE PSALMIST

TELL me not, in mournful numbers,
Life is but an empty dream ! —
For the soul is dead that slumbers,
And things are not what they seem.

Life is real ! Life is earnest!
And the grave is not its goal ;
Dust thou art, to dust returnest,
Was not spoken of the soul.

Not enjoyment, and not sorrow,
Is our destined end or way ;
But to act, that each to-morrow
Find us farther than to-day.

Art is long, and Time is fleeting,
And our hearts, though stout and brave,
Still, like muffled drums, are beating
Funeral marches to the grave.

In the world's broad field of battle,
In the bivouac of Life,
Be not like dumb, driven cattle !
Be a hero in the strife !

Trust no Future, howe'er pleasant !
Let the dead Past bury its dead !
Act,— act in the living Present !
Heart within, and God o'erhead !

Lives of great men all remind us
We can make our lives sublime,
And, departing, leave behind us
Footprints on the sands of time ;

Footprints, that perhaps another,
Sailing o'er life's solemn main,
A forlorn and shipwrecked brother,
Seeing, shall take heart again.

Let us, then, be up and doing,
With a heart for any fate ;
Still achieving, still pursuing,
Learn to labor and to wait.

The above poem was first published in the Knickerbocker Magazine in October 1838. It also appeared in Longfellow's first published collection Voices in the Night. It can be found, for example, in:
Longfellow, Henry Wadsworth. The Complete Poetical Works of Longfellow. Boston: Houghton Mifflin Company, 1893.

Healing thru Development of Affirmation and Visualization

Throughout our lifetime, we all go through life’s vicissitudes that causes us pain. Many people fail to resolve the issues by finding cause of the pain. We can always use affirmations and visualizations to discover problems and find ways to resolve these problems.

Visualization and affirmations take us through a self-healing process. Self-healing is the natural process of repair and restoration. Every person in this world undergoes stress, fear, anxiety and trauma due to various reasons. How can we reduce this stress and anxiety?
The fundamental step is to analyze and understand you. You have to dig deeper and deeper into your inner-mind if you want to know you. Scrutinizing and visualizing your past can help you find ways to solve your problems. It is the window to know your fears, apprehensions and worries. For example, you were scared of drowning when you decided to swim the first time. Today, however you have accomplished your goal. How did you overcome your fear? Can you replicate methods to find ways to resolve other fears similar to the one you had solved already?

The fundamental step is to know your fears and worries and accept the fact that they exist. After that, we have to comprehend the cause-effect relationship. Once you have visualized the cause and its effect, it will become easier to solve your problems.
By using visualization and affirmation to study your past knowledge, experiences, and so on you can find solutions to solve your problems also. Unfortunately, the presence of negative forces out number the positive forces. They can have a profound impact on our minds. We should let only the positive forces to get into our minds. Applying conscious effort can help you use positive affirmation to overcome negative thinking. For example, when we see a shooting on the television, we should switch off the TV and make a resolution either that we will avoid such unpleasant viewing or we must learn from the incident. We must vow not to do such an act ever in our life. Ideally, we should do both to achieve results faster.

We can have a plan to overcome our fears and apprehensions once we know them. There are various techniques available today. Using techniques, such as yoga, meditation, massage therapy, aromatherapy, or listening to inspiring music can help you relax in order to use your visualization and affirmation skills effectively. Meditation has proved to help many people through self-development. Meditation is a single-point focus of all your senses and concentration. This point can be a thought or an object. We must learn to probe into the innermost mind to understand the self. Yoga is used mainly to tone your body and thereby relaxing your mind in this process. Inspirational music can have a soothing effect on the mind thereby relaxing it and relieving it from stress and tension.

Self-healing leads to self-development, improves the functioning of body system, relaxes the mind resulting in higher productivity and a stress-free mind. Though higher productivity and stress-free mind may sound oxymoronic, it is possible with self-healing. It helps individuals to become confident and reliant. They have the courage to stand up for what they believe in. They are not influenced by external forces. They only do what is right to them. Their interests are nothing but harmonious and positive, so whatever they decide to do will be for the well-being of the world at large. It makes them self-reliant.

A self-reliant person is highly motivated and radiates this motivation. Others are definitely pulled into it and they in turn attract other individuals to them.

The Solution Is This: Repeat this and believe it.
"I am free now to detach myself from what use to be"

My Secret Squirrel

Leave it to your spouse to call you on the carpet when you are not
practicing what you preach.
We sit on our back porch quite a bit actually I t is really nice because the
land behind our house is conservation land. Some cool wildlife, especially
the squirrels.
One in particular, There are a couple trees behind us and they are about
20 feet apart. I watched this little guy every day. He'll be in the one tree
and wiggle his tail like he is contemplating something and then he runs
like hell on the limb and leaps 20 feet to the other tree branch with total
complete confidence.
Les Brown says "leap and the net will appear". I like that because my
secret squirrel just takes that leap with complete faith that he will land on
that other branch. One time he missed the branch but another branch
caught his fall. Hmmm.
So for 2 weeks I've been telling my wife about how cool it is that this little
guy has so much faith and confidence and I should write a story or a blog
about him.
Then I said something else about time to do it or some such silliness.
Then she says "any excuse will do” ARRRGGGHH. She layed me out
with that.
For two weeks I began to challenge my excuses to everything from
working, to and from on the highway. I questioned everything more
diligently than I ever had.
Any excuse will do, those words haunting me every time I thought of
putting off a task that would free me from my own self imposed slavery
Between my new friend, who I call my secret squirrel, and my wife calling
me on my shizznit. I decided that I was once again hit by an angel. A
squirrel angel, who knew his outcome and did not hesitate to leap
because it was a must to get to that other branch, Not to mention teach
me a lesson
Any excuse will do. This goes for anything and everything I want to
achieve in my life, or don't want to achieve.
I continue to remind myself not to major in minor things and know my
outcome. It does not matter if it is washing a dish, walking the dog or
signing a major contract. We can find an excuse for anything.
What old tapes have you been playing in your head and procrastinating
on if any? Starting today for the next two weeks challenge every excuse
you come up with that will keep you from getting what you want.
As for my secret squirrel, He still leaps from tree to tree and is probably
thinking "okay God how many times do I have to do this before Mr.
Kendrick catches on?"
Okay I got it,
Did you?

Spiritual Or Religious?

One of the more interesting aspects of the Law of Attraction is found in it's teachings. Fundamentally, it teaches people how to think. Not what to think. Learning how to think, helps focus the mind. Many people discover that focusing the mind, helps improve their life. The book and DVD, The Secret, is a good introduction to the Law of Attraction, but that's all it is.

It focuses on acquiring material possessions. And there's nothing wrong with that. It's not wrong to be well fed, well clothed, drive a nice car and live in a nice home. If you create a feeling of self that's capable and worthy, you'll attract what you want. You can take care of yourself as well as others. The main points of the Law of Attraction is finding happiness in your daily life. Making the world a better place for everyone. Finding self-fulfillment through the power of the mind. There are many people that see the Law of Attraction as a deeply religious experience. Connecting them to others and to a higher power. The numbers are just as large that consider the Law of Attraction spiritual but not religious. Religious or just spiritual, the results are the same: Improving life for yourself and others through the power of thought. Even if you consider the Law of Attraction as neither religious nor spiritual, the benefits are the same. You're still using thought energy to get the things you want most out of life.
